Along with the 30d I picked up a new Canon f2.8 100mm USM Macro lens. I've never had a proper macro lens. I can't really count the Promaster 100mm macro lens since it was bought used and is probably over 5 years old. 
I didn't get a chance to blog this before but shortly before my 300d passed away I bought a Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM, my first piece of L glass which set me back about $1300. All in all I'm really excited about having a camera again. I didn't even want to fill the photo section with my old work since I hope to get out soon and start shooting!
