Water Jug as Photo Tool - Susanbuck.net

From susanbuck.net: Here's something every photographer knows : built in flash photography is harsh. The kind of flash common to most of our cameras is called "direct flash" which fires a burst of light directly at your subject.
Head over to susanbuck.net, specifically, this url http://susanbuck.net/photojojo/flash/index.asp and check out her quick and dirty flash diffusion & quick and dirty lightbox tutorial. It's a method that uses a milk/water jug to diffuse the harsh flash of a point and shoot Canon SD200/SD400. 2 handy tutorials in one! Very Clever! I LOVE IT!

Dude, that is a great idea. When I get inspired to pretend to be able to take photos again I am going to give this a shot!

Flash Diffuser: How about just putting translucent type of scotch tape over the flash area? Maybe "tent" it a bit?

Thats a good idea william... I've actually just held a sheet of paper over the flash before too although that trims a bit too much light.
