Eclipse has been mean to me today. I'm working on a .cfm template that's around 1300 lines. Doing simple search/replace brings beach ball madness. Does this look right to you?
Anyway, I'm halfway joking as Eclipse has been a solid IDE for me. With the many plugins like CFEclipse, Aptana (too many others to list) it completely replaced Dreamweaver as far as my work flow is concerned. Heck, I've even got my wife Sarah using it!
Switching over proved to be difficult for the first week. As I learned the program I quickly realized the benefits of using Eclipse far outweighed the quirks and underdeveloped features of the program.
Anyway no biggie. Eclipse is free by the way. Dreamweaver costs a hefty $399. :P
