Google Analytics
I'm behind the times, please forgive me, but I'm just now discovering how friggen cool (and friggen free) Google Analytics really is. It's a free, killer ap that lets you track your site traffic.
Here is a snippet from the home page:
Side Note: I also really think susanbuck.net's geo tagging feature is wicked cool too. It let's you see the location of where the photo was captured. There's something neat about geo stuff that I can't put my finger on.
Anyway I digress, go and sign up for an analytics account, it requires you to put a small snippet of code into the footer of your site which allows google to know YET ANOTHER thing about your life, just give up already.
Now time to go chase down all of the 404's since I've moved everything around so much.
Google Analytics tells you everything you want to know about how your visitors found you and how they interact with your site. Focus your marketing resources on campaigns and initiatives that deliver ROI, and improve your site to convert more visitors.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm still a big Mint fan, and a fan of Shaun's work in general. BUT after switching to SQL 2k I'm left out in the dark. (see the requirements page)
