Local Comic Book, Cosmic Cherry

It's early in the game as far as publishing goes but they have been working on the project for quite some time. Check out a few of the scans here. Bookmark the site while you're there because I think that's where you'll get all of the news concerning when/where the comic will be available.

I didn't really read comics when I was a kid, I think we were too poor, but I've always appreciated the art. Personally I think you could take the pages, frame them and hang them on the wall.

I love the edginess and urban feel to the Cosmic Cherry from what I've seen so far. On the sample page (shame on you if you haven't gone to check it out yet) one of the characters named Jameson has a sleeve of tattoos and finds himself in a race with (I think her name may be daphne) to see who finishes a bowl full of asian food. Probably chop che, my favorite. I'm rambling now.... Go check it out already! »
