I've seen her work a few times here in St. Louis and honestly, it was so good I didn't think it was actually their work. That sounds dumb to say but I thought they were prints from, like, well... a store I guess. Little did I know these were original pieces! They recently moved to Oregon and I feel bad because I never really got a chance to really know them or support their work. Until tonight when I saw the perfect print.
I'm only showing it in part because I want you to go to her store to see the rest (Here it is but it may be out of stock by the time you read this). This reminds me of my little bean pod Jack when he's all swaddled up. Her work is so unique. I like how Drew put it "Ashley's found a way to work a childhood full of drawing into an adult's life." (read that in Sadie Mag).
Can't wait till it get's here. The print was only $20 and shipping was a minor $3. Quite inexpensive for an original piece like this. Thank you guys! I'll definitely be picking up more of these because Jack's walls are so bare right now and these are absolutely perfect for his brown room!
