Entrances: South City St. Louis

Entrances: South City St. Louis I've been collecting photos of entrances for quite awhile so I thought I'd unleash a few now. These were taken in South City St. Louis. A plate full of toasted ravioli for the first person who can name the street.

Heed All Warnings

Heed All Warnings This is a photo of a little birdie that wasn't too keen on reading and obeying the message plastered to the rung of this ladder. I took this photo and posted it so it may be a lesson to the wild, careless and/or disobedient.

My Little Gremlin Bean Pod

My Little <s>Gremlin</s> Bean Pod Well, today Jack downgraded from gremlin to bean pod, his original status. It's been a rough couple of days where nothing seemed to put him at ease for longer than a half hour.

Benton Park Grunge in St. Louis

Benton Park Grunge in St. Louis Benton Park is a cool little historic neighborhood near downtown St. Louis. It's actually the first place I lived when I moved to St. Louis. I lived near Pestalozzi and McNair, close to Venice Cafe.

Stormy Skies

Stormy Skies Taken on the end of my driveway during some very colorful spring skies. I love spring; the flowers, the storms, everything. I'd be a storm chaser if I had some patience.

Sarah Shooting

Sarah Shooting I was moving some old photos around and this one just sort of struck me funny so I'm posting it up here. The cool thing about having a partner that shoots is you get to go out on shooting expeditions. This one happened in Carondelet Park in St. Louis

Grandma (Frances) Meade February 26, 1926 - April 16th, 2008

Grandma (Frances) Meade February 26, 1926 - April 16th, 2008 I have to pay respect to my Grandma Frances Meade who passed away on April 16th 2008, the same day my son was born. I was not able to attend the funeral, my heart is broken. She was a beautiful lady and she will be missed.

Spring is here

Spring is here Well it's time for my official spring is here post but I fear that by doing so I may experience more raining slush like I did yesterday. Hinging on what I hear and read online has lead me to go ahead and do it, it's supposed to get nice this week.

Caps - Schlafly No. 15

Caps - Schlafly No. 15 Time for another Caps entry. This time I'm keeping it local with my favorite brewery of all time: Schlafly. This No. 15 brew is the tool I use to get people in the door and it even got Sarah to start trying (and now liking) beer.

Stormy Weather

Stormy Weather The rain has been insane lately. A few days ago I had a little river in my back yard. Good news though, spring is here. Now I can start going outside again. This shot was taken in Chesterfield Valley on my way to Trader Joe's.

Asian Store: Shooting from the hip

Asian Store: Shooting from the hip I like "shooting from the hip". You simply leave the camera around your shoulder and snap spap. It's a good way to shoot in places where you may be asked to leave if caught taking photographs. This is our favorite asian store in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Nam Hai Oriental Food Market.
